The Roman Carnival began in the Middle Ages, but it decline during the House of Savoy, in 1870.
Today, the carnival of Rome backs to its former glory: mask parades, fireworks, horse races, theatre, music, dance and events also for children, will take place in the city centre.
From 26 February to 8 March you could relive the ancient splendor of the Roman Carnival, just reaching Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso and Piazza Venezia.
An opportunity to visit Rome and to discover an ancient festival!!
